After using this coffee maker for over 10 weeks, we are quite happy with it overall (after learning a few lessons). Perhaps this is an updated version of the model, but we have not had any of the issues some reviews mention, like problems cleaning the grinder burrs. WebFirst, what clogs up the passage are finer grounds that stick together because of the oil in the beans. They cake together and must be removed. The unit is NOT self cleaning and Cuisinart is clear on that issue in the owners' manual. Second, the rate at which the grounds cake up is dependent on your coffee.
