WebThe Zero Waste Schools program began in 2016 by focusing on 100 schools receiving Curbside Compost. We’ve taken what we learned from this five-year program to develop best practices for school recycling and compost collection. All schools can be zero waste schools by fully separating out recyclables and compostable material when available. WebThe traveling trailer is filled with information and activities related to recycling. Students particularly enjoy participating in the beverage can recycling drives to help earn money for their schools. Both programs are free!
