Key fob went through washer
Web7 sep. 2016 · Key fob went through the washing machine. I've dried it out and tried a new battery but to no avail. I can only unlock the car using the emergency blade. The car will still start though so I assume the immobiliser chip is unharmed. Web21 aug. 2006 · I would open the fob up and use a hair dryer to dry it out.
